Nepal logs four new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,028 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 592.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported three new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,571.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 940 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,576,300 PCR and 1,142,472 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,800 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,028 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 48 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 592.
Kathmandu Valley recorded two new infections–in Lalitpur district–in the last 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, two new infections were recorded in Bagmati and one in Sudurpaschim.
On Sunday, 11 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Saturday reported 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Friday and seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday.
