Nepal logs seven new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 965,847 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 747.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,545.
All 1,849 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Thursday, 5,569,233 PCR and 1,138,295 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,819 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 965,847 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 25 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 747.
Kathmandu Valley recorded one new infection–in Kathmandu district–in the last 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, three new infections were recorded in Province 1, one each in Madhes Province, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali.
On Thursday, 11 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 21 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and 32 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
