Nepal logs 13 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 965,822 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 765.Post Report
Nepal on Wednesday reported 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,538.
Similarly, three people tested positive in a total of 1,449 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,566,414 PCR and 1,136,446 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,358 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 965,822 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 57 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 765.
Kathmandu Valley recorded five new infections in the last 24 hours. All five were confirmed in Kathmandu district.
In the past 24 hours, three new infections were recorded in Province 1, one in Madhes Province, five in Bagmati and one in Gandaki.
On Wednesday, 12 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another two were on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 21 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 32 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday and 23 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday.
