Nepal logs 33 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 965,714 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 842.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 32 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,507.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 2,117 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,559,778 PCR and 1,132,688 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,942 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 965,714 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 89 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 842.
Kathmandu Valley recorded seven new infections in the last 24 hours. Of them, five were confirmed in Kathmandu and two in Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, seven new infections were recorded in Province 1, four in Madhes Province, eight in Bagmati, four each in Gandaki and Lumbini and five in Sudurpaschim.
On Monday, 15 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another two were on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Sunday reported 23 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Saturday and 16 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday.
