Nepal logs 12 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 965,936 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 669.Post Report
Nepal on Friday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,556.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 1,621 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Friday, 5,571,961 PCR and 1,139,916 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,728 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 965,936 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 89 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 669.
Kathmandu Valley recorded one new infection–in Kathmandu district–in the last 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, three new infections were recorded in Province 1, two in Madhes Province, three in Bagmati, one in Gandaki and two in Lumbini.
On Friday, 11 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Thursday reported seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Wednesday and 21 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Tuesday.
