Nepal logs 19 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,160 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 520.Post Report
Nepal on Wednesday reported 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,631.
Similarly, four people tested positive in a total of 1,366 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,586,487 PCR and 1,146,222 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,349 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,160 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 49 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 520.
Kathmandu Valley recorded five new infections in the last 24 hours. Of them, four were recorded in Kathmandu and one in Lalitpur.
In the past 24 hours, two new infections were recorded in Province 1, one in Madhes Province, five in Bagmati, two in Gandaki and five in Sudurpaschim.
On Wednesday, 12 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 23 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 22 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday and three new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday.
