Nepal logs nine new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,303 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 400.Post Report
Nepal on Saturday reported six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,654.
Similarly, three people tested positive in a total of 2,057 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Saturday, 5,593,765 PCR and 1,150,232 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,986 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,303 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 44 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 400.
Kathmandu Valley recorded three new infections in the last 24 hours. Of them, two were reported in Kathmandu and one in Lalitpur.
In the past 24 hours, one new infection was recorded in Province 1, four in Bagmati and another one in Madhesh.
On Saturday, nine individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Friday reported 14 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, three new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday and 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Wednesday.
