Nisarga Batika School, Rabibhawan, Kathmandu, has announced its annual Model United Nations (MUN) Conference, scheduled for December 13 to 15. The conference will unite over 140 young minds from 26 schools to discuss pressing global issues.
This year’s conference will commence with a keynote address by Florine Bos, the chief of communication at UNICEF Nepal, who will inspire delegates with her insights into diplomacy and global governance. Participants will then engage in realistic simulations of United Nations committees, grappling with critical topics such as climate change, geopolitical tensions, and international peacebuilding.
According to the organisers, Nisarga MUN 2024 will empower students to improve their debating prowess, build on their persuasive skills, and develop critical thinking and diplomatic acumen.
Beyond intellectual engagement, the event provides an opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun by fostering connections among like-minded peers who share a passion for understanding global affairs.
Nisarga Batika School has successfully organised MUN conferences for four consecutive years. This conference is not just a learning experience—it is a celebration of global awareness, leadership, and the power of youth to create meaningful change.
