Keep Moving
Many Nepali celebrities pop in as guests and share their journey in Nisha Adhikari’s podcast, Keep Moving. The podcast was launched in November last year and has a total of 23 episodes.
I like Keep Moving because as I relate to stories shared by the guests—especially the artists. I find the podcast very motivating. Also, it gives me insights into the Nepali movie industry as a lot of professionals from the scene come on the show and share their experiences.
On Air with Sanjay
Sanjay Silwal Gupta hosts the uber-popular Nepali podcast, On Air with Sanjay. It was launched in May 2021 and has aired over 250 episodes to date. Gupta is well-known for his excellent hosting skills and the diverse information he presents in entertaining segments.
This is an incredibly popular show, and I keep up with everything happening in Nepali pop culture through it. Honestly, I feel like I’ll miss out on things if I don’t listen to this podcast.
Herne Katha
Herne Katha might be more of a documentary, but I’m categorising it as a visual podcast because that is what I see it as. The show, presented by Bidhya Chapagain and Kamal Kumar, showcases the lives of everyday individuals living in villages and is incredibly interesting to watch. The show now has a total of 104 episodes.
Every episode of Herne Katha is a much watch. I love how Chapagain and Kumar actually go to these villages and interview the locals, bringing to light stories that are incredibly inspiring. I learn a lot about Nepal through this show.
Nepal Can Studio
Nepal Can Studio presents inspiring stories of local people who have suffered a lot in their life and want to motivate people by sharing their stories. The podcast started two months ago and has sired a total of four episodes to date.
I really like to listen to Nepal Can Studio because its episodes have stories that are very motivating. They recently uploaded a podcast video of a single mother and entrepreneur, Tulsa Adhikari—that made for an interesting watch.
