Light rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely at a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
The division said generally cloudy conditions are expected over the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as the mountainous regions of other provinces. The remaining hilly and Tarai regions are expected to witness partly cloudy weather.
Tonight, generally cloudy conditions are expected over the mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces. The hilly and Tarai regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to see partly cloudy weather, while the rest of the country will remain mainly fair.
The division said light rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning may occur at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
