Generally cloudy conditions are expected in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, including most hilly regions, on Wednesday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The remaining areas are likely to see partly cloudy skies, while haze may occur at a few places in the Terai and valleys.

The division said there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. Similar conditions may also occur in the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is also possible at one or two places in the Tarai regions of Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

Tonight, generally cloudy conditions are expected in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, including the hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces. Other areas will remain partly cloudy.

The division said light rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces and at one or two places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
