Mist is likely in some parts of the Tarai on Sunday morning, while light rain and snowfall are expected at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The Division said the mountainous region will remain generally cloudy and the hilly region partly cloudy during the day. The Tarai will see mainly fair weather.

Light rain or snowfall is likely at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Bagmati provinces, and at one or two places in similar regions of the remaining provinces.

At night, mist is likely in a few places in the Tarai. The mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will see mainly fair weather.

There is also a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, the Division said.
