The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the country is experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds, with partly cloudy conditions in Koshi and Gandaki provinces’ hilly regions, while the rest of the country has clear weather.

In the afternoon, the hilly areas will remain partly cloudy, with a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Light snowfall is expected in a few places in the high hills and mountainous regions of these provinces.

Tonight, Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces’ hilly regions will see partial cloud cover, while other areas will remain clear. Light snowfall is expected in some high-altitude areas of these provinces.

The division has urged caution, as the weather conditions could have minor impacts on daily life, agriculture, health, road transport, and aviation.
