The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the country is currently experiencing the partial influence of westerly winds and a low-pressure system. Koshi Province and other hilly areas have partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear. Some areas in the Tarai are witnessing fog.

In the afternoon, Sudurpaschim Province and other hilly regions will see partial cloud cover, while high-altitude areas may experience light snowfall.

Tonight, Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces, along with other hilly regions, will have partly to generally cloudy skies. Light snowfall is expected in some high-altitude areas.

The division has forecast light snowfall in some high-altitude regions over the next 24 hours and fog in parts of the Tarai on Thursday morning. It has urged caution as weather conditions may affect daily life, health, road transport, and aviation.
