The country will experience partly to generally cloudy skies in the hilly areas on Monday, while the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear.

Light to moderate rain is expected in the hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, with a few showers likely in other hilly regions and isolated parts of the Terai.

There is a chance of light snowfall in some high hilly and mountainous areas.

Tonight, hilly areas in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are forecasted to remain partly to generally cloudy with light to moderate rain in some areas. The high hilly and mountainous regions of these provinces may experience light snowfall.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, western and local winds, along with a low-pressure system over West Bengal, are partially influencing weather conditions across the country.

On Sunday, Janakpur recorded the highest temperature at 33.4°C, while Jiri had the lowest at 12.0°C. Kathmandu received the highest rainfall with 6.1 mm.
