Partly to generally cloudy skies are expected in Koshi and Bagmati provinces and hilly regions, with partly cloudy to mostly fair weather in other areas on Saturday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Brief rain or thundershowers are likely in a few locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with isolated showers possible in hilly regions elsewhere.

Light snowfall is expected in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in select high-altitude areas in other provinces.

Tonight, partly to generally cloudy conditions are forecast for hilly regions, while other areas may experience partly cloudy to mainly fair weather. Brief rain or thundershowers may occur in one or two locations within the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with chances of light snowfall in some high-altitude areas.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that the current weather is influenced by westerly winds, local winds, and a low-pressure system near Bangladesh and Assam in India.
