On Monday, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected in the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces along with the hilly regions of the country. In contrast, the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy to mainly fair.

Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces and one or two places of hilly regions of the rest of the provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

During the night, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will see partly to mainly fair skies while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to mainly fair weather.

Light to moderate rain, along with thunder and lightning, is likely at one or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

According to meteorological analysis, westerly winds are generally affecting most areas of Lumbini, Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces, they have partial effects on Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces while local winds are also influencing partially the rest of the country.

In mountainous regions, there are chances of rain or snow in some areas of the eastern region, while central and western regions may experience rain or snow in one or two places.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature recorded was in Janakpur, reaching 34.8°C, while Jumla had the lowest at 2.6°C.
