On Sunday, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected in the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces along with the hilly regions of the country. In contrast, the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy to mainly fair.

Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, according to the Metrological Forecasting Division.

During the night, the Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will see partly to generally cloudy skies while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to mainly fair weather.

Light to moderate rain, along with thunder and lightning, is likely in a few areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

According to meteorological analysis, westerly winds are affecting most areas of Lumbini, Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces whereas the local winds have partial effects Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

In mountainous regions, there are chances of rain or snow in some areas of the eastern region, while central and western regions may experience rain or snow in one or two places.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature recorded was in Janakpur, reaching 34.0°C, while Jumla had the lowest at 4.2°C.
