On Saturday the weather across the country is forecast to be partly to generally cloudy.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati and Gandaki Province and at a few places of the rest of the provinces. There is a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati and Gandaki Province.

Tonight the weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning to occur at some places of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province and at a few places of the rest of the provinces.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has warned of chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the Koshi and Gandaki Province.

On Friday, the highest temperature was recorded in Janakpur at 38.8°C, while the lowest temperature was in Jiri at 13.4°C. The highest rainfall was observed in Dadeldhura with 204.7 mm. Kathmandu experienced a temperature of 31.1°C at the highest and 19°C at the lowest with 9.8mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
