The Meteorological Forecasting Division forecasts partly to generally cloudy weather throughout Nepal on Sunday.

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely to occur in various parts of the country. There is a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is predicted in several areas, with chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Koshi and Lumbini provinces.

The current weather pattern is influenced by monsoon winds, with the monsoon trough situated around the average location.

The highest recorded temperature was 35.7 degrees Celsius in Dipayal in the country while the lowest recorded temperature was 14.5 degrees Celsius in Jomsom.
