The meteorological division has forecast partly to generally cloudy weather throughout the country today.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely to continue at some places of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudur Pashchim Province as well as a few places in Madesh and Karnali Province.

Heavy rainfall is expected to occur at a few places in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight the weather is forecast to remain partly to generally cloudy.

The highest recorded temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius in Bhairahawa in the country while the lowest recorded temperature was 15 degrees Celsius in Jomsom.
