The weather across the country will be partly to generally cloudy on Friday.

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected at some locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, with a few areas in the rest of the provinces experiencing similar conditions.

There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Additionally, wind gusts may occur in some areas of Madhesh Province and the eastern Terai regions.

Tonight, the weather will remain generally cloudy nationwide. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is forecasted at some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few locations in Madhesh. Heavy rainfall is likely at a few places in Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with one or two places in the remaining provinces also at risk.

Dipayal and Dhangadi recorded the highest temperatures in the country on Thursday, reaching 36.4 degrees Celsius. In contrast, Jomsom experienced the lowest minimum temperature of 13.5 degrees Celsius.
