On Sunday, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy across the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected at some places in Koshi Province, the hilly regions of the rest of the country, and a few locations elsewhere.

Tonight, conditions will remain generally cloudy nationwide, with light to moderate rain and thunder likely in Lumbini and Karnali Provinces, as well as some other areas.

There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Currently, the entire country is under the influence of monsoon winds, with the monsoon trough positioned around the average location.

The maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 37.7 degrees Celsius in Simara, while the lowest recorded temperature was 15 degrees Celsius in Dadeldhura.
