Pedestrian dies in motorcycle accident

Kathmandu
A man, believed to be around 60 years old, died in a road accident in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police Nareshraj Subedi, spokesperson for the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police, said the pedestrian, who sustained fatal injuries after being hit by a motorcycle, died while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
The victim’s name, exact age, and address are yet to be established, the police said.
The man was seriously injured on Monday night and was taken to the National Trauma Centre, where he died during treatment.
Police have taken the motorcycle rider into custody and are carrying out the necessary investigation into the accident.
