Three arrested outside Kathmandu Airport on charge of gold smugling
Police informed that of the arrested, one person, a resident of Kavre, who landed in Kathmandu on a Himalaya Airlines flight had brought the gold from Dubai by placing it in his gastrointestinal tract.

Police have arrested three people involved in the smuggling of one kilogram of gold from outside the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday.
According to the police, Babulal Dong of Kavre, who landed in Kathmandu from Dubai on a Himalaya Airlines flight, was arrested by personnel from the Kathmandu Police Range.
Likewise, the police also arrested two other individuals, who were allegedly assigned to manage the smuggled gold, from Kathmandu following Dong’s arrest.
Police informed that Dong had placed the gold, brought from the United Arab Emerites, in his gastrointestinal tract.
