One dead, two injured in motorcycle collision in Bhaktapur

One person died and two others sustained injuries as two motorcycles collided head-on at Sano Thimi of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality in Bhaktapur district on Thursday.
According to police, a 17-year-old girl of Gajuri Rural Municipality-7, currently residing in Nayabazar, Kathmandu died in the accident that occurred on Thursday afternoon.
The pillion rider who had sustained serious injury in the incident died while undergoing treatment at Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital.
Two persons injured in the accident are receiving treatment at the Gwarko-based B&B Hospital, police added.
The police have detained both the motorcyclists for further investigation.
