The body of actor Madan Krishna Shrestha’s wife, Yashodha Shrestha, was cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat, Kathmandu Capital on Tuesday. Her last rites were performed according to Hindu tradition. 

Shrestha’s wife Yashodha Shrestha, 67, who was suffering from cancer for the past eight years, passed away during treatment at Harisiddhi Cancer Hospital at 10:45pm on Monday.

Yashodha, born on December 29, 1951, was married to actor Madan Krishna Shrestha 35 years ago. The Shrestha couple has a son and a daughter.
