A Cabinet meeting on Tuesday morning recommended three names as the National Assembly members. The meeting withdrew the names forwarded by erstwhile Sher Bahadur Deuba government and recommended new names.
The meeting recommended Yubaraj Khatiwada, Bimala Poudel and Ram Narayan Bidari as NA members. Khatiwada is a Nepal Rastra Bank governor, while Poudel was formerly at President Bidhya Bhandari’s secretariat. Bidari is a senior advocate and a former lawmaker.
Deuba government had recommended Krishna Prasad Poudel, Gopal Basnet and Chadani Joshi as NA members.
