Popular action director in the Nepali film industry Rajendra Khadgi has been arrested on the charge of human trafficking on Thursday.
A team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police nabbed Khadgi from Thamel of the Capital.
CIB spokesperson Jivan Shrestha said that Khagdi has been remanded to five days in custody for investigation.
Shrestha said that the CIB started investigation against Khadgi based on the information that he has taken 11 people to South Korea on the pretext of making documentary and staging cultural shows and left them there.
According to a CIB source, Khadgi had collected Rs 1 to 1.5 million each from the 11 persons to take them to South Korea.
