Bolbam pilgrims have gathered in Sundarijal on Monday morning to fetch water and offer it to Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu and Doleshwor Mahadev Temple in Bhaktapur.
The Bolbam festival, observed on Mondays of the month of Shrawan, is observed by many Hindu devotees across the country.
Large number of devotees mostly clad alike in saffron robes throng to Pashupatinath and Doleshwor temples to pay homage to Lord Shiva.
