CPN (Maoist Center) has finalised nine names, most of them new ones, for six ministers and three state-ministers to be inducted in the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government.

Party Spokesperson Pambha Bhusal said Giraj Mani Pokharel will take over Health Ministry while Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has been picked for Energy Ministry. Ministries of Tek Bahadur Basnet, Shiva Kumar Mandal, Santa Kumar Tharu Chaudhary and Asha Khanal have not been finalised.

Likewise, Jakir Hussain, Ram Singh Yadav and Shambhu Shrestha will be inducted as state ministers.

With new inclusion, the number of ministers from the party will reach nine. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Janardan Sharma and Prabhu Sah have already been appointed as ministers from the party.
