Police arrested two persons in possession of a huge cache of pharmaceutical drugs from Budhanilkantha Municipality-7, Kathmandu, on Sunday.
The suspects have been identified as Dinesh Thapa, 36, of Panauti Municipality-1, Kavre and Padam Ale Magar, 27, of Aathrai Rural Municipality, Tehrathum.
A police team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) nabbed the duo with 789 ampoules each of Bupronorphine and Phenargone among other controlled drugs worth around Rs 1.1 million today.
Police said that they have also confiscated Rs 47,000 and IRs1, 920 from their possession.
