Dahal refuses Trimurti award
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has refused to accept the 'Trimurti Samman and Satabdhi Padak' conferred to him by Trimurti Niketan.

CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has refused to accept the 'Trimurti Samman and Satabdhi Padak' conferred to him by Trimurti Niketan.
A statement issued by Dahal's secretariat said the ex-PM thanked Trimurti Niketan for awarding him but has decided not to accept it. Accepting or rejecting award depends solely on an individual's personal rights and freedom.
The secretariat also said its attention was drawn by the news reports saying Dahal had agreed to accept the award.
The award was to be conferred on August 19.
