Folk singer Pangeni among 11 arrested for disturbing peace

A team of Maharajgunj Police Circle has arrested 11 individuals including folk singer Badri Pangeni for disturbing the peace at Bansbari in the Capital on Wednesday.
Singer Pangeni is the Chairman of Rastriya Lok Tatha Dohori Geet Pratisthan Nepal.
The police have also confiscated Rs 204,000 and few decks of cards from the rented room from where they were arrested after locals registered noise complaint.
The police have suspected that the arrested individuals might have gathered at the place for gambling purposes.
The arrested persons have been sent to the Kathmandu District Administration Office for further action.
