Cylinder bomb goes off near RPP leader's residence in Duwakot

An unidentified group detonated a cylinder bomb at Duwakot of Changunarayan Municipality – 2, Bhaktapur on Friday.
The bomb exploded at around 3 am in front of the residence of RPP leader Madhav Khatri, near the Kathmandu Medical College, Khatri said.
Eight windowpanes in Khatri's house were shattered while four windows developed cracks in another house belonging to Pushpa Pradhananga when the bomb went off, Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Shyam Oliya, said police are investigating the incident and have launched a search to find those involved. On Wednesday midnight, Nepal Army's bomb disposal squad had defused a cylinder bomb planted at Lokanthali. RSS
