Kathmandu
The Nepal Medical Association (NMA) has condemned the attack on health personnel at Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj by police.
A group of security personnel stormed the hospital on early Sunday morning and assaulted the hospital staff. They also vandalised the medical equipment.
Noting that doctors and health professionals have been serving the people despite the drugs shortage, the NMA urged the law enforcement agencies to be cautious and perform their jobs responsibly.
The NMA has also demanded the government and the local authorities to take action against the guilty officers.
