Turkish jet hit by bird at Tribhuvan International Airport
An Istanbul bound Turkish Airlines flight TKY 727 was hit by a bird during its take-off from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday.

An Istanbul bound Turkish Airlines flight TKY 727 was hit by a bird during its take-off from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday.
The Airbus A330-300 jet took off at 12:45 pm.
Airport authority said that the airline reported normal after the strike to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) from Bhairahawa point. It has continued its flight to Lucknow, India, where it will refuel and continue its flight to Istanbul.
A loud bang was heard seconds after the take-off from the airport.
