National Futsal League finals to be held in Pokhara from May 8

The All Nepal Football Association has announced to hold the 'A' Division National Futsal League finals from May 8 to 29 at the Pokhara Multipurpose covered hall in Kaski.
The football governing body also signed a sponsorship deal worth Rs 2.9 million for marketing promotion and event management with Turnpike Events Private Limited. ANFA Futsal Committee coordinator Ratna Kumar Shrestha and Turnpike chief executive Ukesh Lohani signed the memorandum of understanding at the ANFA headquarters, Satdobato on Sunday.
The finals of the tournament will feature 10 teams, said Shrestha, the futsal coordinator. The participating teams will be selected through regional qualifiers. Top four teams will be picked from Bagmati provincial qualifiers, two each from Province 1 and Gandaki Province, one from Province 2 while there will be a single joint team from Provinces 5 and 6 and Sudurpaschim Province, according to ANFA.
"We have allocated the number of teams for finals as per the existence of futsal clubs in the provinces," said Shrestha. The qualifiers that started on February 7 will last till March 9.

The winners of the tournament will get Rs1 million and the runners up half the amount. The best goalkeeper, defender, winger, emerging player and best coach of the tournament would get Rs25,000 each. The man-of-the-match of each game would get Rs5,000.
