A motorcyclist died in Ghorahi, Dang district, on Saturday night after being hit by a tipper truck.
The deceased is a 39-year-old man from Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-9, police said.
A tipper truck travelling from Ghorahi to Tulsipur collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction in Ghorahi-10 along the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section, seriously injuring the motorcyclist.
According to the District Police Office, Dang, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries while being treated at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi.
Police said they are further investigating.
