Three caught with Rs50,000 bribe

Three persons including the chief administrative officer of Suddodhan Rural Municipality in Rupandehi district have been arrested with bribe money.
A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Butwal arrested Chief Administrative Officer Anantapani Marasini, Ward Chairman of Suddodhan-7 Bhim Bahadur Yadav and middleman Binod Bhar with Rs50,000 bribe money.
According to Ram Krishna Adhikari, information officer of CIAA Butwal, they were arrested from the canteen of the rural municipality office based on a complaint that they demanded a bribe for the extraction of riverbed materials.
