Flood sweeps away bridge linking Syangja and Gulmi
The bridge over the Kaligandaki river was washed away after four days of continuous rain caused the river to swell.

Palpa
A motorable bridge linking Mirmi in Syangja’s Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-7 and Harmichaur in Gulmi’s Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-1 was swept away by floodwaters in the Kaligandaki river.
The bridge was washed away on Sunday after floodwaters damaged it following four days of continuous rain.
The collapse has disrupted travel and transport services between Syangja and Gulmi.
