Congress, Rastriya Swatantra Party leading one constituency each in Lalitpur

The Nepali Congress is leading in Lalitpur-1 and the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Lalitpur-2 as of Tuesday morning.
Congress’ candidate Udaya Shumsher JBR has maintained his lead in Lalitpur-1, receiving 10,707 votes. He is followed by Nawaraj Silwal of CPN-UML with 10,661 votes.
Sachin Kumar Ghimire of the Rastriya Swatantra Party is in the third position garnering 1,690 votes.

In Lalitpur-2, Toshima Karki of the Rastriya Swatantra Party is leading with 5,123 votes. Amrit Khadka of UML is second in the election race with 3,959 votes.
Pampha Bhushal of the CPN (Maoist Centre) is third in the vote tally with 2,293 votes.
UML’s candidate Prem Maharjan has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Lalitpur-2 receiving 15,025 votes.
