UML’s Prem Maharjan elected from Lalitpur-2
His closest contender Sudin Shakya of the Hamro Nepal Party got 8,886 votes.

CPN-UML’s candidate Prem Maharjan has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Lalitpur-2 receiving 15,025 votes.
His closest contender Sudin Shakya of the Hamro Nepal Party got 8,886 votes, while Buddha Ratna Maharjan of the Rastriya Swatantra Party got 8,666 votes.
Likewise, a common candidate representing the ruling alliance, Krishna Lal Maharjan of CPN (Unified Socialist) got 8,264 and Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s candidate Raghuwar Raj Thapa received 6,646 votes.
