Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Amresh Kumar Singh has extended his lead in Sarlahi Constituency No. 4.
Singh has secured 9,037 votes, ahead of Nepali Congress president Gagan Kumar Thapa, who has 5,828 votes. CPN-UML’s Amnish Kumar Yadav follows with 1,422 votes, while Janamat Party candidate Rakesh Kumar Mishra has 513 votes.
Counting in the constituency is still ongoing, but Singh’s margin of 3,209 votes gives him an advantage.
