The move affects around 300 LLB students; campus chief says efforts to reverse decision ignored by university.

Students staged a protest at Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus in Rajbiraj on Tuesday, accusing the administration of deliberately creating inconvenience by relocating examination centres.
The latest protest follows last week’s incident where students padlocked the campus chief's office, objecting to the shifting of Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) third-year and Master of Education (MEd) first-year exam centres. Despite assurances from Campus Chief Sushil Chandra Karna before his departure for Kathmandu three days ago, the examination centre for the Bachelor of Law (LLB) second year has now also been moved.
Ranjit Kumar Yadav, president of the Free Student Union at the campus, said they were compelled to resume their protest after discovering that the LLB second-year exam centre had been relocated to J. S. Murarka Multiple Campus in Lahan, Siraha. According to the schedule published by Tribhuvan University, the exams are set to commence on Wednesday.
This decision has plunged approximately 300 LLB second-year students at the campus into uncertainty.
Campus Chief Karna expressed his dismay over the decision, revealing his unsuccessful attempts to have the centre reinstated. “It’s my responsibility to ensure the smooth conduct of exams. I pleaded at all levels within Tribhuvan University to be allowed to conduct them here, but my pleas went unheard,” he said. “I’ve only been in office for three months, and I aspire to implement significant reforms—but I haven't been given the chance.”
