55 fugitives arrested in Parsa within a month

Police in Parsa district have arrested 55 fugitives within a month as part of a special drive to enforce court verdicts.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Subash Bhatt, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Parsa, the arrests were made between March 14 and April 13 by a special team mobilised to collect fines and execute court orders.
The individuals were convicted in various cases and had fines imposed by the Parsa District Court on different dates. Police said all arrestees have been presented before the court.
