Police have arrested a woman from Birgunj with drugs.
The arrestee has been identified as 23-year-old Sushmita Pariyar of Hetauda Metropolitan City-11 in Makawanpur district.
A joint team of Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force arrested Pariyar from the customs gate in Birgunj on Saturday evening.
The police recovered various prohibited drugs including Nufin-10 ampoule, Phenargan-10 ampoule and Diazepam-10 ampoule types of banned drugs hidden in white tape on her thigh.
According to Deepak Bharati, deputy superintendent of police, said that the district court has extended the remand of Pariyar by three days.
The police are investigating for further details.
