Janakpur
Police on Monday arrested two people on the charge of stealing Rs8 million from an employee of Subhashree Savings and Credit Cooperative at Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City on April 26.
According to Dhanusha District Police Office, Birendra Mahato, the employee of the cooperative, was carrying the money after withdrawing it from the Janakpur branch of Himalayan Bank.
They were robbed by two people in ward 13 of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City. Police have not made public the names of the arrested.
