A 25-year-old man from Gaidakot in Nawalparasi was arrested by Indian Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) with two automatic pistols and two magazines at the Nepal-India friendship bridge in Raxaul, India, on Wednesday.
According to Inspector Rajiv Nandan Sinha of the SSB, among the two pistols, one was loaded, and the arrest was made after getting an anonymous tip.
There were two people who entered India with guns; one got arrested, and the other managed to escape.
Further investigation into the case is going on in coordination with the Nepal Police, said Sinha.
