Three robbers made off with Rs8 million from an employee of a Dhanusha-based cooperative on Monday.
According to police, three motorcycle borne youths robbed Birendra Mahato, a staff of the Shubha Shree Saving and Credit Cooperative, of the amount belonging to the cooperative.
The incident took place at around 11 am when Mahato, along with another employee Rekha Devi Mahato, was heading to the cooperative office, police said.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
